Kanji characters 1-4

In these lessons, I will explain the kanji characters with illustration and mnemonic hints that make it fun and easy to learn. These lessons will be fully covered mainly words at JLPT level 5 to 4. 1. On-Yomi　= いち、いつ、いっ

Kun- Yomi= ひと

一　 =　いち　 = One

一つ = ひとつ　 =　One

一じ = いちじ　 =　One o clock
一ぷん = いっぷん =　One minute
一がつ = いちがつ = January

2. On-Yomi　= に

Kun- Yomi= ふた
二　 =　に　 = Two
二つ　 =　ふたつ = Two
二じ　 =　にじ　 = Two o clock
二がつ =　にがつ = February
二り　 =　ふたり = Two people　

3. On-Yomi　= さん
Kun- Yomi= みっ　み

三　 =　さん　 　= Three
三つ　 =　みっつ 　= Three
三じ　 =　さんじ　 = Three o clock
三がつ =　さんがつ = March

4. On-Yomi　 = し
Kun- Yomi= よん　よっつ　よ

四　 =　よん／し　= Four
四つ　 =　よっつ　　= Four
四じ　 =　よじ　 　 = Four o clock
四がつ =　しがつ 　 = April
